Citizen campaign against the Asian hornet – Spring 2026
Let's protect our bees... together!
The Asian hornet poses a serious threat to our bees. Every year, countless bee colonies are weakened or destroyed by this predator. But there is a simple and effective solution: capture the queens in the spring, before they can establish a nest.
That's why I'm launching a local citizen action, open to anyone who wants to contribute to the protection of our biodiversity.
Set a trap, protect nature – we'll pay you back!
How does it work?
1 - You register and pay a contribution of €20
This contribution includes:
a selective, reusable and high-quality trap
a natural attractant,
2. You will receive a ready-to-use trap
You place the trap in your home (garden, patio, orchard, etc.) starting in early spring. No experience necessary: you'll receive a short instruction manual.
3. In May I collect the traps from those who do not want to keep them
You choose:
20 € back, or
three jars of honey from my own bees (2x400gr + 1 x 250 gr)
Why participate?
Because bees are essential to our food supply.
Because a small action in the spring can prevent dozens of nests.
Because this is a simple, local and useful citizen action.
